 Equal Exchange/Fair Trade Coffees, Teas and Chocolates will be for sale after church on Sundays by the Library.  Profits will be used for UMW mission projects which include support for Lakewood UMC-Haiti Mission.

UMW Annual Seed Drive
For the Henderson Settlement

The Henderson Settlement is a Methodist-affiliated organization whose purpose is to meet the basic human needs of people in Appalachia.  More information about the Henderson Settlement can be found at www.hendersonsettlement.com.

Each Spring, the UMW of Lakewood UMC holds a seed drive to collect seed packets for the Henderson Settlement. This UMW mission needs fruit and vegetable seeds.  The next time you are at the store, please buy a few seed packages and bring them in for Henderson.  Seed packs can be left in the planter on the UMW table on Sundays or in the church office.
